The Snipers Calmed the Storm.....
Submitted By smclachlan on Sunday, November 13, 2011
Heading into the St. Marys arena, we knew the game would be a good one.

With a tie and a one goal win against this team in the Goderich tournament, we knew that they would be out to collect a W.  Their passes were strong, their shooting was fast and their knowledge of the blue lines was to their advantage.
Our girls came out with confidence, and were quickly moving the ring around.  Laura opened our scoring with a nice goal in the first period.  Meghan and Mattie were making nice passes to move the ring up.  Natalie was able to put two goals past thier strong goalie.  Courtney and Emma were working hard as well, digging in the corners for the ring.
Our D always know that they will see a lot of ice time.  Emily, Corrinn and Laynee were strong, protecting Brooke who had a great game in goal. She had to stop a lot of rings this game.
What is nice about this team is listening to the positive comments they make to each other, on the bench and in the dressing room. They are about fun, teamwork and being supportive to each other, and really that is what is should all be for.
