A Great Day in St. Thomas
Submitted By smclachlan on Saturday, November 26, 2011
It was a nice day for a drive and a fabulous game for our Storm.

We knew going in that there would be a lot of skating to be had, and our team was ready.  We remembered the arena, it is hard to forget with the BIG step up into the bench and long narrow dressing rooms.  The character of the arena worked in our favour and created a memorable game.

This was a nice team game to watch.  Each of the "out" players, Laura, Courtney, Corrinn, Mattie, Laynne, Emily, Emma and Meghan were able to put the ring over the goal line.  Brooke was strong, strong, strong in goal and kept the St. Thomas team to one goal late in the second period.  The versitility of the players was showcased with the players being able to work different positions and lines.  We are looking forward to having Natalie back in the line up for the next game.  Thanks for a fun game girls!
